On the second Monday of each month this summer, come out to the park for a "Monday Meet Up." Bring a picnic blanket, a sketchbook, or a frisbee. Bring the kids! Hang out and meet the people in the group and your neighbourhood. And if you are so inclined, bring a bag for litter pick up to leave the park a little better than you found it.
Meet Up Mondays - every second Monday in the month, June to August, 6:30 p.m.
Also, stay tuned for news about our next meeting - with our councillor Cesar Palacio! - expected to be scheduled for late June.

May 2012 – Update
A big thanks to everyone who contributed their ideas to our proposed project.
The City’s community garden coordinator has received our proposal, and while we look forward to hearing back about the next step, Nicole and Kasia are developing this weblog to keep the group informed. Also in the works is Francesca attending gardening workshops at the Stop to help the group green our thumbs in preparation for some serious growing.
On April 21, a small but dedicated group of our Friends spruced up the park for Community Clean Up Day. Thanks to Jamie, Angela, Jakob, Paul, Jason and Kasia, along with a few little helpers, for cleaning up the park despite the rotten weather. We did a great job, but we also realize that a once-a-year clean up day isn’t enough. Check back for upcoming clean up days and other park events.
We bet you've never seen Roseneath Park this clean and green!
