Due to inclement weather, our August Meet Up will not take place as planned this afternoon.
What do we have to report? Well, we are still waiting for formal permission from Parks management for our community garden. In the meantime, they are working on some of the other features we requested, like a bike loop and a community notice board. Councillor Palacio's office is also in talks with Toronto Water to see if anything can be done about the berm (the infamous hill on the west side of the park).
Stay tuned for future meeting dates. We are anticipating another meeting with city staff in early September.
