Today I received 1100 spring bulbs from the Parks department for planting at Roseneath Park! The bulbs will make quite a show in the early spring.
If you love to dig in the dirt, come out and help us plant them. We have 2 upcoming planting days:
Wednesday October 22, 5-7 p.m.
Sunday October 26, 11a.m. - 12:30
(Bring your own tools.)
New trees are set to arrive soon too. We'll be setting up an adopt-a-tree program, so please contact us if your family is interested. You'll be ensuring the survival of our new trees, which are so important in providing shade, flood control and aesthetic value to the park.
